| Disassembling
the pieces: Previously assembled
parts are disassembled by using ACETONE.
Cleaning: Surfaces
are cleaned with denaturalised ETHIL ALCOHOL, along with the use
of a scalpel for further precision in the cleaning.
Assembling the pieces: Fragments
have been assembled together by using an ”UHU” bonding
adhesive. During this process some fragments that were not previously
assembled were used to put all the other pieces together and thus
allowing a complete restoration.
Completing missing parts:
Missing areas were filled by using “gesso” (plaster)
tinted with yellow ochre and burnt sienna.
Final touches: Not
all the fragments were assembled simply because there was no consistency
with the rest of the pieces.
