| Cleaning:
For the removal of the calcareous incrustations
has been used a resin with ionic exchange (Descialbante 90) contextually
to a mechanical cleaning. For the flinty incrustations in addition to the mechanical cleaning has been used of the acetic acid, diluted at 5%. Disassembling the pieces: Cause the presence of a previous assemblage of fragments that compose the base, made with a not adequate glue (vinyl), the disassembling of the fragments has been proceeded using hot water. Assemblage: Has been proceeded initially with the assemblage of the fragments of the base, subsequently with those that connect the base with the superior parts of the object. Completing missing parts: During the assemblage we have been able to reconstruct the object using an original fragment. Missing parts have been reconstructed using the "'integrante a cera I 76". Final protection: Has been passed, with a brush, PRIMAL diluted at 2%, to facilitate the cleaning of deposits of dust on the surface of the object. |
